Hoje vamos conhecer um pouco o trabalho de Paula Erber , Artista Visual e amiga há muito tempo. Paula fez um trabalho sobre meu piano faz alguns anos.
O piano em questão é um Schiedmayer , alemão e foi fabricado em 1901. São quase 120 anos de música e histórias. Pertenceu à minha bisavó e foi passando de mão em mão até chegar às minhas. Foi graças a ele que comecei a tocar estudar quando devia ter mais ou menos cinco anos de idade.
Today we are going to know a little about the work of Paula Erber , visual artist and friend for a long time. Paula made a study about my piano along time ago.
The piano is Schiedmayer, german , built i 1901. It is almost 120 years of music and history. It belonged to my grand grand mother and was passed from one hand to another until mines. It was the reason why I starrted to play and study music when I was about five.
O Piano do Perim sempre me fez viajar para um passado nostálgico e imaginário. A madeira escura, os candelabros, os detalhes em metal, seu som, são histórias de piano e pessoas. Um século guarda muitas histórias. Sempre pensei em colocar no papel aquilo que eu via no Piano do Perim. Fiz um ensaio com uma técnica artesanal de fotografia chamada pinhole. É uma técnica rudimentar, que trabalha com o acaso e traz resultados inesperados. O artista cria sua camera fotográfica utilizando o princípio da camera escura, uma caixa hermeticamente fechada, com um pequeno orifício, do tamanho de uma agulha. É por esse orifício que o artista capta a luz. O próprio artista pode revelar suas fotografias. Para minha surpresa, o piano não se revelou. Ao mesmo tempo, sem a menor pretensão, fiz um registro emocional fotográfico, com uma camera digital. Anos depois, a partir destas fotografias digitais, “O Piano” se revelou em azul. A cianotipia é uma técnica de fotografia artesanal, em que o artista cria seu papel fotográfico, e após a revelação, o resultado é uma impressão azul. Azul foi a cor perfeita para a expressão deste imaginário nostálgico e poético, sentido através do Piano.
Paula Erber Rio de Janeiro – 1971 – Licenciatura em artes pelo Instituto Metodista Bennett. Pós graduação em design de jóias pela PUC-RJ. Formação em gravura no Parque Lage e MAM, se dedica também a fotografia artesanal e joalheria. Desde setembro de 2014 estuda alta joalharia, no Centro de Joalharia de Lisboa. Atualmente desenvolve trabalhos inspirados em músicas. Sua expressão busca a poética do cotidiano, um fazer sem pressa; onde exista a possibilidade de contemplação e encontro com o onírico. Perim´s piano always made me travel to a nostalgic and imaginary past. The dark wood , the chanderlears , the details in metal, the sound. Those are stories of piano and people and a century can hold a lot of stories. I always had the idea of putting on paper what I was seeing. I made a study with an artisanal technique that works with chance e brings unespected results. The artist creates his own dark camera in a hermetically sealed box, with a very small hole with the size of a needle. The artist can reveal the photos himself. For my surprise , it didn´t work. At the same time, without any pretention, I made an emotional photografic register with a digital camera. Years later, when I was working with those digital photos , "The Piano" revelead itself in blue.
The Blue print is a technique of artisanal photography where the artist creates the photografic paper , and at the end of the process of revelation, the result is an impression in blue. It was the perfect color for the expression of poetic and nostalgical imaginarium , felt towards the piano.

Rio de Janeiro – 1971 – Graduated in visual arts ( Instituto Metodista Bennett). Post graduation in jewelry design (PUC-RJ). Formation in printing ( Parque Lage , MAM). Works also with artisanal photography and jewelry. Since January 2014 studies high jewelry at the no Centro de Joalharia de Lisboa, Portugal. At the present time develops works inspired by music. Her expression search for the daily. A non stressed way of living where the contemplation and the encounter with the orniric becomes possible. Her works had been shown in several colective and individual exhibition in countries such as Brasil, Armênia, França, Portugal.
