Fanzines were the form of dissemination of the punk era. I would never have imagined that I would write in a fanzine right in the middle of 2022. But it happened, and I told my story, of how I used music as a means of overcoming and expression in very difficult times. From hospital admission to the launch of the "Side Effects" program. The fanzine is cute, colorful and very little reminiscent of the punk ancestors. It is sold online and at some alternative locations in London. But most the important thing for me was to be able to tell my experience to a young audience, and to return to a project of writing more (a book, perhaps) on the subject. I've abandoned the project a few times because it was emotionally too heavy. But now maybe i've found a new way.
Fanzines eram a forma de divulgação da era punk. Nunca iria imaginar que fosse escrever em um fanzine em pleno 2022. Mas rolou, e contei a minha minha história, de como utilizei a música como um meio de superação e expressão em momentos muito difÃceis. Desde a internação no hospital até o lançamento do programa "Side Effects". O fanzine é fofinho, colorido e lembra muito pouco os ancestrais punks. É vendido on line e em alguns locais alternativos em Londres. Mas o importante pra mim foi poder contar a minha experiência para um público jovem, e retomar o projeto de escrever mais (um livro, talvez) sobre o assunto. Já abandonei o projeto algumas vezes por ser emocionalmente muito pesado. Mas agora talve tenha achado um novo caminho.
