Vou participar na quinta feira dia 8 de abril da mostra e série de debates "Sound Art Media , produzida pelo Centro de Estudos de Comunicação e Sociedade da Universidade do Minho , e Portugal. Vou apresentar a minha composiçao "Coagulation"
I will take part on Thursday, April 8, in the exhibition and series of debates "Sound Art Media, produced by the Center for Communication and Society Studies at the University of Minho, and Portugal. I will present my composition" Coagulation "O som é uma vibração física que informa a nossa experiência diária. Mas é também uma linguagem através da qual também exprimimos a nossa experiência racional e afetiva. Pensando o som como conexão e relação, como expressão do fluxo e do tempo, a equipa do projeto Audire e o grupo de trabalho de Rádio e Meios Sonoros da Sopcom convidam investigadores, profissionais, estudantes e artistas para um encontro online, sobre o poder do som na comunicação.
Como é que o som influencia a maneira como vemos o mundo? Pode a arte sonora promover uma escuta ativa e comprometida? Quão relevante é o som numa cultura mediática que é marcadamente visual? Para além de uma conferência plenária, este encontro tem também espaço para apresentação de trabalhos científicos, prevendo-se ainda a realização de uma exposição online de trabalhos de arte sonora.

Sound is a physical vibration that informs our daily experience. But it is also a language through which we also express our rational and affective experience. Thinking of sound as connection and relationship, as an expression of flow and time, the Audire project team and the Sopcom Radio and Sound Means working group invite researchers, professionals, students and artists to an online meeting, about the power of sound in communication. How does sound influence the way we see the world? Can sound art promote active and committed listening? How relevant is sound in a media culture that is markedly visual? In addition to a plenary conference, this meeting also has space for the presentation of scientific works, and an online exhibition of sound art works is also planned. The event takes place on April 8 (only in the afternoon), entirely in English
